Melissa McKinney is a servant-hearted leader and Licensed Associate Addiction Counselor who is passionate about helping people grow, connect, and thrive in both their personal and professional lives. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration and is the author of Lessons Learned and Real Talk and Recovery, where she shares her journey and practical tools to inspire hope, resilience, and personal growth.
Melissa serves as Communications Leader on the board of her church and supports congregational engagement through outreach, communication, and connection-building efforts. She also serves as Assistant Lay Leader, helping foster a welcoming and supportive faith community.
Beyond her professional and volunteer work, Melissa is a visual artist whose pieces have been displayed in local venues. Through her art, she seeks to tell meaningful stories, encourage reflection, and bring moments of joy and inspiration to others.
